Under the leading of The Holy Spirit we here at Gospel Truth Ministries have been given the burden to share in the care of the lost and homeless out in the streets of the city of Charlotte. Joyful Feeding and Fishermen of Men has been a ministry that has grown beyond our expectations. When we started these ministries we really had no idea how much of a shortage there was in the city. As the city itself is growing in the magnitude of the rich and famous, the people are getting lost. It has come to my attention personally that many people from out of state have taken interest in the outer look of the city of Charlotte, NC and believed it would have been a wonderful place to raise children and build a family, however to their surprise they would be leaving there homes and jobs that pay substantially a lot more to move to Charlotte which to them without the pay it would actually be a down size rather then the upgrade. Where does this all leave the people already living in the city? We have these same questions and this is part of the responsibility the Lord has laid on this ministry. People have moved to Charlotte, believing in a better life to find that the struggle from living and paying bills were nothing less than extreme. With low pay and high car taxes what about the little people? Many people have moved and went right back to the cities that they moved from. Again what about the people in the streets? Where is the money really going? Our city council has a lot of explaining to do. As the city raises up the people are feeling more and more down and out. Some would say left out and abandon. We here at Gospel Truth Ministries are doing all The Lord has ordained us to do in this region and we will continue to do what He is leading. He has commanded that we come out of the four walls and literately go out into the four corners of the earth.
